A performer I am on the stage of life,
Enacting what for me God has in hand,
I may perform good,
I may perform bad,
But allow me to perform my part in this act of life,
Sun I may be or perhaps just the moon at night
I am God’s directed play,
Whatever it is at least allow me to show my ray,
It is my performance,
A final act before I go to dust,
However bad one does, giving the best they say is must,
And so here I am on life’s centre stage
Sometimes happy
And at times showing my rage,
I am a product of God’s words,
Allow me to be who I am as he has written my sory
And to see him smile at last will be my real victory.
